Dr. Vernon Smith, DMD

Dr. Vernon Smith is a native of Central Florida and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2007. He went on to study at Nova Southeastern University where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2012. Dr. Smith began his career working for dental chains in central Florida but quickly realized that he wanted to focus more on establishing collaborative dentist-patient relationships and purchased Quality Dental Care in 2016.

Dr. Smith believes that dentistry should not be operated like a cookie-cutter based model and that each patient needs a treatment that is tailored to their needs. He is passionate about empowering patients regarding their dental care with effective communication and education throughout the dental treatment process. Dr. Smith’s main goal is to provide fair and honest quality dental care for his patients in Lakeland.
